Our CIFI Kunming Plaza in Yunnan, China has been named as 2021 International Design Awards, IDA bronze winner under the architecture – retail category amongst submissions from more than 80 countries!

The annual IDA Awards recognise and celebrate smart and sustainable multidisciplinary designs.

CIFI Kunming’s design, led by partners Chin Yong Ng and Lukasz Wawrzenczyk, is rooted in the local natural terraced landscape and the year-round spring-like weather. Comprising of two interconnected malls, a retail street, three serviced apartments and hotel towers, the scheme creates a dynamic retail experience through the outdoor retail street that winds across the site mimicking a green valley, seamlessly integrating indoor malls with outdoor spaces.
