Two projects by 10 Design – China Resources’ Sungang MixC Market Hall in Shenzhen and Jinwan Aviation City Industrial Service Centre (ISC) in Zhuhai have been named as winners in the 2020 Outstanding Property Award London for Best Retail Architecture and Best Commercial (Low Rise) Architecture respectively.

MixC Market Hall, jointly designed by Chin Yong Ng and Ted Givens, is a retail-gastronomy destination that will provide an immersive gastronomic experience under one roof.

ISC designed by Nick Cordingley will give new talent a socially interactive campus community in a well-integrated and flexible space.

These winning projects together with other excellent works were selected from the shortlist of over 600 visionary entries from around the world. The jury panel commented that ‘this year, the entries that really stood out as ‘outstanding’ were the projects that challenged conventional approaches while consciously connecting with their surrounding environment; cracking through the surface of sustainability to use local and cultural references in order to create a deeper sense of place and meaning.’
