Our Design Partner Nick Cordingley is speaking at the CTBUH conference in Hong Kong, held under the theme of “The Future City Addressing Carbon, Climate and Societal Crises”. 

Nick’s presentation will address the challenges of bringing the urban realm higher up as cities become denser and more vertical.

Revisiting 10 Design projects including 1,000sqm Skypark in Guangzhou and SkyCity twin-tower scheme in Xian, which includes a series of skybridges, Nick will illustrate ways in which elevated vertical communities can remain socially interconnected and the future opportunities they present for designers.

Nick has over 20 years of international experience and has led the design and delivery of a diverse array of works throughout Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. This includes the multi-award-winning Greatwall Complex at Wuhan – the first project in the city to be LEED Platinum Core and Shell certified.

The session will take place on 9 November 2021 starting at 11 am HKT at sky100 Hong Kong Observation Deck located on the 100th floor of ICC, the tallest building in HK, and is sponsored by Hongkong Land Limited.
