Last Tuesday, our Design Partner Nick Cordingley took part in the CTBUH conference in Hong Kong.

Nick’s session on ‘Vertical Urban Realm’ discussed opportunities to improve connectivity and mobility of people at height through comparison of Hong Kong and Pudong’s urban context, as well as 10 Design projects including Guangzhou SkyPark and Xian SkyCity tower scheme.

“Social spaces within the fabric of the city are what make our cities liveable, and it is those spaces that provide social interaction,” commented Nick, highlighting the opportunities for green and amenity spaces that vertical public realms offer to invigorate and connect urban structures.
