BBC presenter (Neil Oliver) explores the role of Scots in the reinvention of China. In this episode, he met two Scottish Partners at 10 DESIGN (Gordon Affleck and Ross Milne) and talked through the significance of the Zhuhai Convention and Exhibition Centre and its associated super high rise tower at 330 m in height whilst touring around the site. This entire development is one of the major modern landmarks in China which truly demonstrates how China has open to global markets through commitments to building world class architecture. He also interviewed Miriam Au Yeung (Partner from the HK studio) to further understand how China developers play a vital role in the country’s rapid transformation. Phase 2 of the convention facilities also designed by Gordon and his team plans to host their first show in 2020.
