In the December online issue – ‘What Makes a Great Leader’, the Chinese edition of the CEO Magazine celebrates the incredible companies that aren’t just surviving, but thriving in Asia. The magazine interviewed Doris Chen, 10 Design’s Managing Partner – China, who reveals the secrets of her success during tough times, and how to recession-proof a business.

In the interview, Doris highlighted that China Resources’ Sungang MixC, a pioneer retail-gastronomy destination in Shenzhen, is a pivotal project which has allowed 10 Design to further elevate the practice’s profile in the China market. The project is on site, and since then 10 Design has led on a number of other landmark projects with prestigious developers in Shenzhen, the Greater Bay Area, and throughout the country. 

This year, the team celebrates 10 years of 10 Design. The practice marked the occasion by opening a new Shenzhen office in the anniversary month of October. Doris commented that the new operation will help expand our design footprint in the region and further strengthen the practice’s presence in China.
