Egis’ Architecture Line Enhances Global Team with World Leading Sustainability Expertise

As a key milestone in its quest to lead the future of sustainable city transformation, the Egis’ Architecture Line, a synergetic collective of some of the world’s leading architecture firms, has significantly enhanced its leadership team with two new major strategic hires. Marion Baeli joins as Principal – Sustainability Transformation at 10 Design (part of Egis Group), and Rob Buckley joins as Global Head of Sustainability at Weston Williamson + Partners (part of Egis Group).


With over 930 architects and designers working in 20 studios across 5 continents, Egis’ Architecture Line continues to provide global expertise playing a pivotal role in the design of architecture, infrastructure and urban planning. 

Marion joins from Studio PDP where she was a Partner. Specialising in adaptive reuse strategies and low-energy design, she brings in over 20 years of expertise regarding the design and delivery of large-scale, complex projects that span the whole spectrum of housing as well as office sectors. She is a renowned author on low-energy design, recognised for her award-winning book on residential retrofits. Additionally, she contributes to the Westminster Council's Design Review Panel, serves as a frequent guest lecturer at London Universities (UCL, Westminster, Imperial College), sits on the board of the UK Passivhaus Trust and acts as an architecture award judge for both the Architects’ Journal and Architecture Today.

Rob Buckley joins from Buro Happold, where he was their Building Environments Sustainable Design Director. He is an industry leader in the application of net-zero carbon strategies and circular economy principles in response to the climate emergency. With over 25 years of experience in sustainability spanning across the globe, Rob has a proven track record of implementing decarbonisation strategies in the dynamic international commercial environment. From lecturing in sustainable design at Stanford University to speaking as a keynote for the Green Building Conference, Rob thrives on sharing his experience to inspire change by bringing a truly global approach to shared challenges.
