The Seed Building at Makers District

Abu Dhabi, UAE
Situated within the heart of the newly planned Makers District the development has the capacity to be a truly active urban destination with immediate and convenient pedestrian connection to the F+B centre along the waterfront.

The Seed Building both contains and incubates creative ideas and discourse. It will become a regional showcase for local talent and an international hub to attract the world’s leading creatives to both learn and educate. Internal spaces of the building are creative laboratories that will offer flexible rational and robust spaces that can easily be adapted to creative thinking spaces whether it be collective or individual, creative manufacturing whether physical or digital.

The building is a permeable and open facility that welcomes and draws the general public through the facility, encouraging passive and active participation in the events. As easily modified as its function and uses develop over time, in effect it is a truly sustainable creative container.
