Jinan, known as a 'Spring City', is the capital city of Shandong province in China. The site used to accommodate a factory within the old industrial district and will soon be converted into a new central business district.

Jinan Spring City is aimed to create a retail, cultural, and entertainment hub for the new district. The mixed use development comprises predominantly a retail mall with an office tower at the NE corner of the site.

The retail concept is inspired by the beautiful springs of Jinan with spring water being infused into the mall, creating a sense of freshness and vitality. The design of the retail interiors is drawn from the idea of a treasure box, containing 8 different themed retail zones filled with surprises as one travels through the mall.
