Business School Campus

Middle East
10 Design proposes a contextual approach for a new business campus in the Middle East. A new campus that reflects the local culture and responds to the local climate to create an innovative space for teaching, collaboration and learning.

Rather than creating an impermeable block which internalises the experiences, the building is split into intersecting blocks to form a learning lattice. These are separated to allow natural light to penetrate into the main central space and connect to series of newly formed shaded green courtyards.

The building blocks contain a flexible yet rational organisation of teaching, learning, work and live space. The courtyards are created between the building mass with additional protection from solar shading above.
